Forty British soldiers had been killed by republicans in Northern Ireland during 1971 but does this justify 14 people shot in cold blood at a Civil Rights march? The simple matter of fact is that the British government wanted to show authority by use of force and planned the operation as such. They aimed to lure the IRA into open conflict by going in heavy.
When the IRA did not materialise the already hyped up Para’s did exactly what they are trained to do and shot at anything that moved.

Answer: Well,well,now here’s a first.Hypocrisy from Hoekum and Michael.Hoekum supports the illegal occupation of Palestinian territory yet is against Britain holding on to N.Irn. (scratches head)
Michael is always saying you can’t blame the Palestinian people and collectively punish them for Hamas’s actions yet thinks all Irish people are responsible for the B’ham bombings so it’s ok to mow Irish Catholics down in cold blood and not have to explain how that came about.
Some people like to have their cake and eat it eh?
As far as costs are concerned had there not been a whitewash to begin with it would have been a whole lot cheaper.The blame for that lies squarely with the whitewashers.
